VALLEY HUSKERS JUNIOR FOOTBALL
FACT SHEET
• The Huskers are one of the seven teams in the British Columbia Football Conference.
• Junior football provides 17-22 year olds an opportunity to improve their football skills, often with the goal of securing a university scholarship or moving to professional ball.
• The Valley Huskers usually sign 50-60 players. We play 10 games from July to September.
• Players come from all over Western Canada — Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, including the Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack areas.
• Practice starts in late July and runs Monday - Friday, 7:00 - 10:00 pm. Games are played on Saturdays and include 5 home and 5 away.
• All players can be billeted. Job placement assistance is available.
• Many players from the BCFC have received university scholarships and some have starred in the Canadian Football League. Last year the BCFC All-Star kicker was from the Valley Huskers.
• The Huskers work hard to develop a “family atmosphere” and place importance on the welfare and personal growth of their players. All Board members take their volunteer participation seriously. For further information and/or questions please contact Coach Bob Reist [email protected]

WE WRAP THE SEASON WITH A WIN. 🌽

Final from The Corn Field.

HUSKERS 41 | KODIAKS 17

There’s no better way to close out the 2026 season than together, at home, under the lights — and with a W.

This season tested us. It challenged us. But this group kept showing up, kept fighting and kept believing in one another right to the final whistle.

Tonight was for our seniors.
For our billets and billet families.
For our community.
For every person who stood behind this team all season long.

And tonight, we finished it together.

Thank you, Huskers Nation. 💚🖤

BUILT IN THE VALLEY. 🌽
UNTIL NEXT SEASON.

A big Huskers thank you to Polonia Sausage House! 🌽💚

There’s nothing quite like bringing the Huskers family back together around a good meal.

A huge thank you to Polonia Sausage House for generously donating the perogies and farmer sausage for our Alumni Meal. Your support helped us welcome our alumni home and share a meal with the people who have helped build the legacy of Huskers football over the years.

We’re incredibly grateful to have local businesses like Polonia supporting our team, our alumni, and our community.

Thank you for helping us take care of the Huskers family. 💚🖤

One last chance to leave it all out there.

Tonight, the Valley Huskers close out the 2026 season at home against the Prince George Kodiaks. Kickoff is 7:00 PM at Exhibition Stadium.

🏡 BILLET APPRECIATION — celebrating the families who opened their homes and became part of ours.

💚 COMMUNITY NIGHT — for the community that has stood behind this team all season long.

And tonight, WE BLACK IT OUT. 🖤

Wear black. Bring the noise. Fill the stands. And help us welcome the Chilliwack Chiefs to The Corn Field.
