Today, we honour the thousands of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Veterans who have served with courage and dedication.

On National Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we recognize the service and sacrifices of Indigenous Peoples during the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War and in times of conflict and peace since then. Your contributions have played a key role in defending the freedom of our country.

This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the unveiling of the National Aboriginal Veterans Monument in Ottawa, Ontario. The Monument reflects the unique heritage, diverse cultures and lasting contributions of Indigenous Peoples.

Congratulations to Wo2 Hu for receiving the power pilot scholarship we hope you have a great time learning how to fly this summer. We also say farewell to fsgt smith as she ages out of the air cadet program. We thank you for your years of hard work and dedication to 147 Airwolf and the impact you have made on your fellow cadets.

Today’s was 147’s 84th ACR (Annual Ceremonial Review). Many awards were presented. There were drill team, band, and effective speaking demonstrations. Bravo Zulu 147! Very well done.

147 Airwolf says good bye to our out going Commanding Officer, Captain Thomas Benton who, through his several years of service, dedicated countless hours to help make cadets possible at across several Squadrons. The incoming Commanding Officer, Captain Sandra Bradbury, has stated she will continue Capt. Benton's mission of working hard to maintaining a positive cadet experience. The cadets of 147 Airwolf are looking forward to bringing in a strong end to our training year. In Captain Bentons last quote as C.O. "GIGO!"
