Our overall goal is to facilitate this conversation
in order to identify your goals for change and growth, finding and maintaining the motivation to change, and staying on track through the change. Coaches and clients examine the client’s situation, beliefs and values, and help reorient the client to live according to those values. Clients must be ready for change and invested in the process. The more a client puts into it, the more they will get out of it. Where couples are involved, the conversation is still collaborative, and done together as a couple. The couple is our client, not each individual. Sometimes it is necessary to have separate sessions, where the wife will meet with Janice and the husband will meet with Jeff. Janice and Jeff will then collaborate to determine a suitable approach to working with the couple (what you say is confidential, though). Janice provides Emotion Coaching for families.
