Today, we pause to reflect on the people, relationships, and community connections that make our work so meaningful.

We are thankful for:

The Sunshine Community Garden had another incredible season, with 74 members caring for 88 plots and 1,500 lbs of fresh produce donated to support our community. 🍅💚

Through approximately 40 delivery trips, fresh vegetables reached the Salvation Army, Tidal Foods, and local community partners, helping turn gardens into giving.

This year also brought exciting improvements, including water expansion, new raised beds, solar lighting, and a beautiful new entrance archway.

Thank you to everyone who helps make the Sunshine Community Garden a place where food, friendship, and community flourish. ☀️🌱

Today, Inclusion Chilliwack Society joins communities across Canada in recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities.

Because October is Community Inclusion Month in BC, a time to celebrate belonging, connection, and the contributions of people of all abilities. The Halloween Howler brings our community together to celebrate inclusion, friendship, and fun for everyone.

Happy Labour Day from Inclusion Chilliwack Society!

Today, we recognize the workers, caregivers, support staff, and community builders who make a difference every day.

We are especially grateful for the ICS team members working today, providing essential support and helping people feel included and valued.

📌 Our office is closed today and will reopen at 8:30am on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

⛳ Thank You for Making Golf FORE Inclusion a Success!
What a fantastic day on the course at the Cultus Lake Golf Club on September 2nd for our annual Golf FORE Inclusion Tournament!
The day was filled with great golf, friendly competition, plenty of laughter, and a wonderful sense of community. We were thrilled to see so many supporters come together to make a difference while enjoying a beautiful day on the greens.
Thanks to the generosity of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, donors, and community partners, funds raised from this event will help support youth supported employment initiatives and food security programs in our community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and to our incredible sponsors for helping make this event possible. Your support helps create meaningful opportunities and strengthens the services we provide.
We are grateful for another successful tournament and are already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Golf FORE Inclusion brought together great people, great weather, and a great cause. From the first drive to the final putt, the day was filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit.
