Atchelitz Threshermen's Association The ATA is a non-profit society dedicated to the preservation of Chilliwack's historic past.

The Atchelitz Threshermen's Association is composed of individuals and families who volunteer their time and skills to the collection, preservation, operation and exhibition of artifacts related to the history of Chilliwack and farming in the area. We host a number of annual events on site, with a Small Engine Show in May, and our Threshing Bee in August, in conjunction with the Chilliwack Fair.

Yesterday, we attended the Agassiz Fall Fair!

We brought our hand-feed threshing machine along for a demonstration and had a few of our tractors take part in the parade. We’re excited to share that our whole entry took 1st Place in the parade!

A big thank you to everyone who came out and helped during the fair. Your time and support helped make the day a great success!

And of course, thank you to the Agassiz Fall Fair for having us. We’re always happy to bring agricultural history out into the community!

Forty years have already passed since Expo 86 was held in Vancouver!

The theme of the exposition was Transportation and Communication, opening the doors to a fascinating display of transportation from both the past and present.

To commemorate this legendary event, we’ve put together a small collection of photographs from our archives featuring the antique truck display that was showcased at Expo 86.

Interestingly, two of the vehicles seen in these photographs are a part of our collection today, the 1936 Studebaker Ace and the 1954 Dodge Woodward's Truck
