There's going to be so much to experience during our Q***r Arts Festival this year! 🌈

Running from October 23rd to the 31st, the festival promises opportunities to enjoy live performances, connect with community, and celebrate creativity in all its forms. We're also bringing a little Halloween spirit to the final days of the festival with two events filled with spooky fun!

FUN FACT FRIDAYS! 🎹
Did you know there are a couple of special ways our community has helped leave its mark on The Chilliwack Cultural Centre?

“The 88 Key Club” was inspired by the vision of the late Ron Goldfinch, a passionate advocate for arts and culture who dreamed of bringing a concert grand piano to The Centre. Today, donor recognition lives permanently in our lobby as part of the 88 Keys installation, a tribute to the community that helped bring that vision to life.

And in our theatres, “Take Your Seat” gives donors the opportunity to have their name, or the name of someone special, permanently recognized on a theatre seat.
Both programs are more than simply a name on a key or chair, they’re a reminder of the people who have helped make space for music, performance, creativity, learning, and connection in our community. ❤️

To everyone who has supported these programs over the years: thank you for helping make The Centre what it is today! We’re so grateful to have your names woven into its story.

We’re not ready to say goodbye to summer either… but unfortunately, fall is coming🍂😅
But don’t worry because we’ve got something that might make the transition a little easier!

We’re heading to Chilliwack Pride! 🏳️‍🌈

Join us this Sunday, August 23rd, from 11AM–6PM at Central Community Park for a free, family-friendly celebration featuring live performances, community booths, local vendors, activities, and plenty of opportunities to come together and celebrate✨

We’ll have a Chilliwack Cultural Centre booth set up and would love to see you there! Stop by, say hello, and join us in celebrating our community.

Get ready to keep your boots on the dance floor! 🤠
Based right here in Chilliwack, The Unbranded Band brings original country music inspired by the Bakersfield sound and the outlaw country tradition of Texas.

They write their own originals, put their spin on the classics, and bring plenty of energy to every performance. If you like your country with a little California twang and a whole lot of Texas attitude, you’ll want to catch this one.

Catch them live at The Art of Local Music next Saturday for an afternoon full of dancing, singing along, and good old-fashioned country music.
