WorkBC Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge

WorkBC Centre Chetwynd, in partnership with Community Living BC (CLBC), and The Chetwynd Society for Community Living, invite you to join us for this year’s Disability Employment Month Open House, taking place on September 21, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

This event will bring together local employers, community partners, and job seekers to celebrate the contributions of people of all abilities! Join us and learn about the various services and supports available to job seekers and employers and explore how inclusive employment helps workplaces and communities thrive.

In the weeks leading up to the event, WorkBC will be connecting with employers throughout the community as part of our annual September spotlight campaign. The campaign will recognize businesses that embrace inclusive hiring and raise awareness of the valuable contributions persons with disabilities bring to our workplaces. We invite local employers to take part, share their inclusive employment practices, and help inspire more welcoming and accessible workplaces across our community. If you, or your organization are interested in participating in the spotlight campaign, please contact [email protected].
