Elder abuse can be defined as a single, or repeated act, within any relationship with an expectation of trust, that causes harm or distress to an older person. This can include:

📌Physical and/or mental abuse
📌Neglect and/or abandonment
📌Financial exploitation
📌Isolation

We’re here to provide a safe space, resources, and understanding for all women facing crisis in Chestermere. 💗

Join us on June 18 from 4–6 PM at John Peake Park as we recognize Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month with an afternoon of community, learning, and connection.

Explore local resources, connect with community organizations, and participate in engaging activities hosted by the City of Chestermere in partnership with Synergy and Men’s Shed. Together, we can help reduce stigma, encourage meaningful conversations, and strengthen support networks for men, boys, and families in our community.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to CWCS towards our programs and services supporting women and families in crisis. 💗

Join this group of volunteers for a meaningful day dedicated to mindfulness, self-discovery and personal growth. Participants will experience inspiring presentations, interactive workshops, healing practices, creative activities and opportunities to connect in a supportive environment. 🥰

Our AGM June 3rd was a wonderful celebration of the many accomplishments over the last year serving women and families in crisis in our community.🎉 We were also honoured to recognize the dedication of our long standing volunteers.🥰

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of connection and community. 💗 We look forward to our continued development in providing critical programs to those in need and building safety, stability and hope, together. ✨
