WHAT’S HAPPENING IN CHESTER – SEPTEMBER 2026! 🌻
September is here, and there’s lots happening throughout the Municipality of Chester! From markets and music to community suppers, family activities, fundraisers and plenty of opportunities to get out and connect with your neighbours, there’s something for everyone. 💛
Here are a few things happening around the community this month:
🍂 SEPTEMBER 1 & 8 – Picnic in the Park

Enjoy live music in the park on Tuesday evenings! Free admission, with donations appreciated. September 8 is the final Picnic in the Park of the season.
🛍️ SEPTEMBER 3–5 – Chester Baptist Church Yard Sale

A great opportunity to browse for some treasures and support the church!

🐄 SEPTEMBER 5–7 – Family Participation Days at Ross Farm Museum
📍 Ross Farm Museum, New Ross
A Labour Day weekend full of hands-on activities for all ages, with the museum, café and gift shop open throughout the weekend.
🎶 SEPTEMBER 6 – Seaside A Ca****la: On the Road Again
📍 St. Stephen’s Church Hall, Chester

Enjoy an afternoon of a ca****la harmony, familiar favourites and music for all ages.
🔥 SEPTEMBER 12–13 – From the Wood Stove
📍 Ross Farm Museum
Experience traditional recipes being prepared and baked using the wood stove, with demonstrations and samples throughout the weekend.

📍 Aspotogan Heritage Trust, Hubbards

Come join Community Wheels for a Pay-What-You-Can BBQ, check out our accessible vehicles, meet our staff, drivers and board, and learn more about the transportation services we provide in our community. Everyone is welcome! 💙
