Arran-Elderslie Fire & Emergency Services is currently seeking applications for Certified Paid Volunteer Firefighters for the following stations:

We are currently only accepting applications from certified firefighters.

🚒 Meet Our New Fire Prevention Officer

The Municipality of Kincardine is pleased to welcome Scott Thomson in the role of Fire Prevention Officer.

Scott brings 24 years of experience with the Arran-Elderslie Fire Department, along with deep roots in Bruce County. In his new role, he will support fire and life safety efforts across the municipality, including reviewing fire safety and emergency plans, delivering public education programs, and helping ensure compliance with the Ontario Fire Code.

Fire safety is at the heart of this role. Residents are encouraged to reach out with any questions or concerns:

Big shoutout and heartfelt thanks to the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie Water Department and Nicolls Construction for taking the time this week to clear the fire hydrant in Chesley! Your quick work helps ensure our firefighters can access water without delay when every second counts.

A friendly reminder to everyone in the community: Please help us keep those hydrants clear! Shovel away snow, ice, and any obstructions around them (aim for at least 1 meter/3 feet of clearance all around). A visible, accessible hydrant can make all the difference in an emergency.
