The Chatsworth Community Outreach is looking for a Food Bank Coordinator to help manage the day to day operations of the Outreach. This volunteer position involves managing volunteer schedules, evaluating inventory and ordering food, client communication and relations, organizing Christmas hampers, attending food bank days and being a member of the Outreach Committee.

Poor air quality can affect everyone's health, but some people are more vulnerable, including older adults, infants and children, pregnant individuals, people who work outdoors, and those with lung or heart conditions.

Protect yourself from poor air quality by:
✔️Checking local air quality forecasts before spending time outdoors
✔️Limiting outdoor activities when air quality is poor
✔️Keeping windows and doors closed (if indoor temperatures are safe and comfortable)

Watch for symptoms such as coughing, throat irritation, shortness of breath, wheezing, headaches or unusual fatigue. Move to an air-conditioned space; if symptoms worsen, seek medical advice.

Check in on family members, friends and neighbour who may need assistance and learn about local cooling centres.
