Another birthday for such an incredible volunteer here at the Foodbank.

Carl started before I came along and continues to be my right hand man! My Dad always spoke so highly of him and I understand why!

He keeps me correct and accurate in the books, he tracks and welcomes all our new clients, keeps us current with policies and procedures documents and the best part is he is my steady problem solver. From mitts, to paint scraper freezer solutions, to keeping us running so organized and with such ease!

I truly don’t know what I’d do without him. 88 years on this planet and I feel blessed for the short few years I’ve gotten to know him. Thank you so much for your service to us and so many others. Not sure he’s on fb but pls wish him well if you see him!

The Chatsworth Community Outreach is looking for a Food Bank Coordinator to help manage the day to day operations of the Outreach. This volunteer position involves managing volunteer schedules, evaluating inventory and ordering food, client communication and relations, organizing Christmas hampers, attending food bank days and being a member of the Outreach Committee.

A HUGE shout out today for a Happy Birthday to one of the most incredible volunteers we have here at the Foodbank.

Alisia Williams does so much behind the scenes that no one sees, she cares so deeply, gives so much time effort and love to everything she does here and does so without need or want for recognition. This foodbak wouldn’t happen without her.

I’m so grateful she reached out years ago, new to our community, and asked if she could help out. We haven’t been the same since.

I hope you have an incredible day full of love, laughter and magic my sweet friend. ✨💚
