RNAO Chatham-Kent Chapter Serving the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO), Region 1 chapter of Chatham-Kent. REGION 1 GOALS:
1.)

Helping local Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Nursing Students speak out for nursing and health. Hello, we are the Chatham-Kent Chapter helping to provide a voice for Registered Nurses and Student Nurses within the municipality of Chatham-Kent (which includes many communities within its borders). To celebrate our local nurses (registered nurses and nursing students) within the broader R

NAO community.
2.) Seek to build partnerships within our own ranks and chapters, other nursing designations and healthcare professions, and with the community at large.
3.) Strive to provide a local voice to our member chapters in sharing information, events, and things of interest.
4.) Continue to encourage nurses in every area of Region 1 to speak out and become involved where they can at the local, provincial, and national levels.

At CKHA, we’re always seeking new ways to grow our skills and enhance patient care — especially when it comes to supporting families through pregnancy and birth.

That’s why we’re excited to host the Spinning Babies® Workshop — a hands-on, evidence-informed training designed for professionals who care for birthing individuals.

This workshop will explore techniques to:
👉 Promote comfort during pregnancy and ease in childbirth
👉 Encourage optimal fetal positioning without forceful manipulation
👉 Recognize and gently respond to labour challenges earlier
👉 Support better outcomes in cases of fetal malposition or labour dystocia

We’re proud to offer this workshop on three separate dates, providing flexible opportunities for healthcare providers to take part in this important training.
