March 4th - Excitement filled the Learning Commons today at Winston Churchill Public School as students were celebrated during a special graduation ceremony for successfully completing the V.I.P. (Values, Influences and Peers) program.

Students proudly received their V.I.P. t-shirts and certificates from Mr. Bosazzi of the Chatham Optimist Club, Mr. Taylor (Teacher), Mr. Lambkin (Principal) and Special Constable Koldyk of the Chatham-Kent Police Service.

Congratulations to all of the graduates on this outstanding achievement! 🎉🎊

The Optimist Club of Chatham recently donated this cheque to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters in support of the VIP program. Shown in picture are Daniella Androulakis, Special Constable Brenda Koldyk and Optimist Board Member Greg Beatty.

The VIP (Values, Influences, Peers) program, which is provided to the grade 5 students, is run in co-operation with the CK Police and the Lambton Kent District School Board as well as the Chatham Christian School and Eben-Ezer Christian School.

This donation ($4,819.00) allows all the students to receive, on their graduation from the program, a specially designed t-shirt. Thanks to Charitable Gaming Chatham Kent for their support. Monies raised through bingos is the source of the funds provided by the Optimist Club of Chatham

Open to ages: 7–10, 11–13, and 14–17.
