I had a wonderful time at Good Shepherd, Thamesville today! Thank you so much for having me! 💚

We had a special cheque presentation today. Charitable Gaming Chatham Kent visited us to present our earnings from participating in Charitable Gaming. Our funds go towards excursion costs, recess items & student experiences.

Pie, pie, pie… oh my!

This past weekend, I rolled up my sleeves and joined the amazing crew at Kent La Sertoma to make 200+ pies!

Yes… 200+ pies.
There was flour, there was filling, there was a whole lot of pie… and probably a few moments of “How many more do we have to make?!”

But every pie was made with a purpose. All of the money raised goes right back into our community to help children and families who are less fortunate here in Chatham-Kent.

So if you bought a pie, thank you! You’re not just getting dessert… you’re helping make a difference.

200+ pies, tired feet, messy hands, full hearts… and one very sweet cause! 💚

Meet Amy and Derek from Lambton Kent Composite School! ❤️ Through their time volunteering at Riverview Gaming Centre, the funds they help raise go directly toward supporting programs at LKCS and creating more opportunities for students.

Thank you, Amy and Derek, for giving your time and helping make a difference for students in your school community! 👏

✨ Let’s meet Andrew Newcombe ✨

Andrew is the Principal at McNaughton Avenue Public School, and if there’s one thing you notice right away about him, it’s how passionate he is about what he does.

This was my second time visiting the school and the thing that stood out to me the most was the way the kids interact with Andrew and the way Andrew interacts with them.

He is warm, patient, nurturing and genuinely invested in his students. You can see it in the way they talk to him, the way they’re comfortable around him and the way he takes the time to really connect with them.

It’s always so nice to meet people who truly love what they do, and Andrew is definitely one of those people.

Keep doing what you’re doing, Andrew! 💚
