Ringette is a sport which focuses on the team over the individual, and builds strong teamwork and relationship skills. Ringette's rules are meant to inspire teamwork and camaraderie. Ringette has a large number of participants on the island. RPEI oversees teams at all levels i

n Charlottetown, Summerside, Montague, Souris, and Rustico. The organization also has programs for high performance ringette players to further develop their talent.

Today, we are excited to announce the athletes moving forward to the next phase of Team PEI selection. With every evaluation, we get closer to identifying the group that will have the opportunity to represent Prince Edward Island on one of Canada's biggest sporting stages.

The passion, skill, and determination shown throughout this process have been incredible. To all athletes who participated, thank you for your hard work, commitment, and the pride you brought to the program.

Ringette PEI is pleased to welcome Kim Steel Gallant as our new President.

Kim brings a passion for ringette, a commitment to our athletes, and a vision for continuing to grow and strengthen the sport across Prince Edward Island.

A message from Kim:

"I am honoured and excited to step into the role of President of Ringette PEI. Ringette has given so much to athletes, families, and communities across our province, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and give back to the sport we all love.

As I begin this journey, I want our members to know that I am committed to listening, learning, and working alongside our athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and associations. Together, we can continue to build a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment where every participant feels valued and has the opportunity to succeed.

By supporting one another, embracing new ideas, and keeping the best interests of our athletes at the centre of our decisions, we can continue to grow and strengthen our sport for years to come.

As Kathy Currie’s 2nd term as President of Ringette PEI comes to an end, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank her for her incredible dedication, leadership, and commitment to our sport.

Over the past four years, Kathy has devoted countless hours to helping Ringette PEI grow and thrive. Through challenges and successes alike, she has been a passionate advocate for our athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and families. Her steady leadership, vision, and love for the game have helped strengthen our ringette community and create opportunities for players across the province.
