From teamwork challenges to leadership development, every parade night helps prepare our cadets for a busy and rewarding summer season.

We’re excited to see all the hard work and dedication pay off in the months ahead as some of our cadets will be heading off to summer cadet camp. ☀️⚓

The best part of cadets is the memories made along the way — friendships, challenges overcome, and experiences that last a lifetime.

We’re proud of the hard work and dedication that our cadets continue to show both on and off the parade square. 👏⚓

📋 Shoutout to Our Admin Team! 🖋️

Behind every successful training night, event, and summer application is a team of dedicated officers and senior cadets working hard behind the scenes. Our administration team is led by SLt. O'Grady.

From organizing files and tracking attendance to helping with paperwork and data entry, SLt. O'Grady keeps the administration department running smoothly — and we couldn’t do it without her! ⚓️

Our cadets have been working hard in preparation for our Annual Ceremonial Review at the end of the month. They’re excited to showcase their dedication, teamwork, and accomplishments from this training year.

This year, we are honoured to welcome our Reviewing Officer, LCdr Michelle Hopping, Commanding Officer of HMCS Queen Charlotte, along with Coxswain, CPO2 Sarah Doyle.

We look forward to celebrating the hard work and growth of our cadets with families, friends, and supporters of our corps. ⚓

On Sunday, May 3rd, cadets from the Charlottetown Sea Cadets (23 RCSCC Kent), 85_rcscc_summerside, 323 Blue Heron Sea Cadets - Queen's County, and 58 NLCC Hyndman took part in the Battle of the Atlantic Parade in Souris, PEI, at the invitation of HMCS Queen Charlotte / NCSM Queen Charlotte, alongside members of the unit and the Prince Edward Island Regiment Band/La Musique du Régiment de I-P-È.

The Battle of the Atlantic (1939–1945) was the longest continuous campaign of the Second World War, where Allied naval and air forces worked tirelessly to protect vital supply routes across the Atlantic Ocean. This annual commemoration honours the sailors, aircrew, and merchant mariners who served, and the many who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We are proud to stand together in remembrance and recognize the dedication, teamwork, and professionalism shown by all participating units.

Congratulations to the winner of our Mother's Day Gift Basket, Terry Pauley! 🧺🎁

Thank you to everyone who supported our cadets with this fundraiser.

Why do cadets fundraise? Although the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet program is funded by the Department of National Defence and supported by the local Navy League branch, fundraising helps provide additional opportunities and activities beyond the core program. Fundraising also teaches cadets important skills such as teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and community involvement.
