Taya is the perfect example of a teammate and a coach’s dream. Everything she does, she does it 100% and never gives up.

Even when things are not going her way she is there with a smile and cheering on her team. She has lots of dedication and determination and always puts her team first !!

However, the amount of work she has put in behind the scenes is second to none, and her improvement on the field over the last couple of seasons is outstanding 💪 She is there to pitch for her team when needed and patrols the field like a lioness on a hunt for that 12” yellow softball.

She is always there to support her teammates on and off the field !! I think every team needs a teammate like Taya ☺️

Alex MacCaull

Alex has been volunteering with softball PEI for many years. He is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable in the game.

He maintains the girls motivation by keeping practices fast paced and fun! (He has been known to win a race or 2 and has been victimized by water balloons 😂

Alex is patient and truly cares about each player's development. The team and parents appreciate Alex's positive attitude and disposition 💪

We are lucky to have Alex be a part of the Ellerslie softball association 😊

Sally Drake

Sally is the VP of Softball for Northside Minor Ball Association and head coach for U11 Northside Cubs Drake 🐻

Sally was instrumental in establishing a softball component of Northside Minor Ball for the 2026 season, and was heavily involved in that entire process 🤩

She organized several offseason promotion
and training opportunities. She coached one of the Northside U11 teams this summer, and was the Chair of the 18-team U11 Provincial Championships !!

BELVEDERE GOLF VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK 🤩

Kevin Quinn

Kevin Quinn has been the ultimate volunteer this season for the U15AA Stratford Stealers and the U15 Prospects Team 💰💚

No task has been too big or too small for Kevin as he has been seen dragging and lining fields in preparation for a games or practices, as well as lugging softball equipment to and from the field. On the odd occasion, he was even called upon to umpire and never hesitated so that games were able to be played.

Kevin has been a welcome edition to both the Prospects and Stealer teams. During training sessions he hits fly balls, ground balls, and runs the pitching machine 💪 During pregame warm-ups, he can be seen working with the infield or throwing whiffle balls during batting practice !!

His knowledge and passion for the game has been evident throughout the season and has been positive influence for both teams 🥎
