2026 CALL FOR ARTISTS 🌳🌴🌲🎠🎊📣

Art in the Open is inviting local, regional, and national artists to submit their artistic proposals for the annual summer festival.

This year’s Art in the Open festival will take place over multiple days in August, and the primary festival location will be Victoria Park, downtown Charlottetown’s largest public green space! ✅🥦

We are seeking creative proposals for:
—Installations, workshops, presentations, performances, or public encounters
—Interactive art projects in any size or medium
—Works that engage the public and respond to the festival’s public, outdoor location

Deadline for submission is May 29th, 2026

Art in the Open is seeking a Festival Coordinator!💥📣

This job is a temporary contract to coordinate a selection of public contemporary art projects and activities to take place over a long weekend in downtown Charlottetown’s Victoria Park.
