💙 What a great day of community!

A big thank you to Lennon Recovery House for having the Kiwanis Club of Charlottetown join you for today’s Shed the Stigma BBQ 🌭🎉!
We had such a wonderful time coming together, sharing laughs, enjoying some good food, and supporting such an important message. It was amazing to see our community show up and support recovery.

Thank you to all Board Members,Staff, and Volunteers at Lennon House for all the hard work that went into making today happen. We’re grateful to have been part of it and proud to support the incredible work you do in our community.🙏🏽💛💙

We had an incredible time on the weekend at our annual Free Community BBQ at the Kiwanis Dairy Bar in Victoria Park!

A few months ago, Lynn, Brett’s mom, reached out to the Kiwanis Club of Charlottetown to see if we could help support the purchase of a new accessible van for Brett. Of course, the answer was yes.

We’re able to make investments like this because of the incredible support we receive from our loyal customers at the Kiwanis Dairy Bar and Bing Country. Every visit helps us give back to our community in meaningful ways.

Today, we held our annual Free Community BBQ at Victoria Park, and Brett and Lynn were the very first to arrive. It was great to spend some time with them. Brett was excited to show off his is new ride!

We also had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with hundreds of Islanders and visitors alike who joined us for another fantastic day in the park.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Kiwanis Club of Charlottetown. Because of you, we’re able to make a difference in the lives of Island families.

We were honoured to receive a 2025 Accessibility and Inclusion Award from Mayor Brown and the City of Charlottetown in recognition of the accessibility improvements made at the Kiwanis Dairy Bar

Creating a space where everyone feels welcome, included, and able to enjoy a visit to the Dairy Bar was a key goal of our recent renovations, and we’re proud to see that work recognized!

A huge thank you to our volunteers, partners, supporters, and community members who helped make this project possible. Together, we’re building a more accessible and inclusive Charlottetown for everyone. ♿🍦❤️

🎉 Congratulations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation on an incredible Big Day of Giving, raising more than $1.1 million in support of health care here on Prince Edward Island! 💙

Club President Ronnie McPhee and fellow Kiwanian and Dairy Bar Operator Basil Hambly were proud to stop by with our contribution in support of the Foundation’s amazing work.

Because of the incredible support from our customers at both the Kiwanis Dairy Bar 🍦 and Bingo Country 🎰, we’re able to give back to organizations like the QEH Foundation that make a real difference in the lives of Islanders every single day.

We’re proud to be a long-time partner of the Foundation and look forward to continuing to support their efforts in every way we can. 👏

Tonight we took time to recognize Suzanne Lee for her 20 years of incredible service to the Kiwanis Club of Charlottetown and the Colonel Gray KEY Club.

As Suzanne enters retirement, President Ronnie McPhee and Division Lieutenant Governor Basil Hambly were proud to present her with the Kiwanian of the Year Award, along with a special plaque recognizing her dedication to the KEY Club and the many young people she has inspired over the years.

The KEY Club at Colonel Gray has become an outstanding program where students learn leadership, community service, and skills they will carry with them long after graduation. And it is that way today because of Suzanne.

We were fortunate to hear from several KEY Club members tonight, who shared stories about Suzanne and thanked her for the encouragement, mentorship, and inspiration she has given them.

There were more than a few tears in the room tonight, and rightfully so.

Thank you, Suzanne, for everything you have done for our club, our schools, and our community. We know her service will continue after retirement, and we are all lucky for it.
