🧡Adoption Update: Emerie🧡

We adopted Emerie in July. She is a wonderful addition to our home. When we got her, she had a cone and was healing from chemical burns behind her ears. She is healing nicely and does not seem to be bothered by it.

You were right about her; she loves cat trees and all high places. She was not nervous of the dog at all and they have become best friends.

She is happy and thriving and is so energetic. She is keeping us all happily busy!

Earlier in August, Animal Protection Officers spent some time in parks across Stratford, sharing the message of leash safety 🐾. Did you know that if your dog is off your property in Stratford, it is required to be on a leash? Yes, that includes at the beach! 🏖️ Officers were glad to see lots of dogs, all on leashes during our visit to Tea Hill and Keppoch/Kinlock Beaches 🐕‍🦺.

Remember, leashes don’t just protect your dog—they allow other dogs to use these spaces safely, keep wildlife safe 🦆, and let everyone enjoy nature respectfully and without worry 🌳.

🧡Adoption Update: Cleo (aka Tessa)🧡

We have had little miss Cleo (aka Tessa) for a little over a month, and she is the sweetest girl! She was very shy at first, and it took her a few days to get used to her new home. But over the past month, we have seen her develop great confidence and curiosity. She loves food, playing, and is obsessed with watching TV (especially the Toronto Blue Jays)! She brings us so much joy and has been the perfect addition to our home!
