June’s Artmobile Schedule - Our Summer daytime hours begin!💫🚗

The CreativePEI Artmobile is a travelling event where everyone is welcome. These events are aimed at folks for whom art and creativity play a major part of their lives, especially arts sector workers.

Choose from the available art supplies to make something new, or bring your own materials/work-in-progress project to work on. Come to create amongst your community, chat, seek advice, or get inspired.

Although these events are primarily for adult audiences, children are welcome to attend with the supervision of a guardian, and we encourage everyone to participate!

These events are sponsored by the City of Charlottetown through the City’s Arts and Culture Project & Event Assistance grant Program.

Jane had a wonderful day holding Open Office Hours in Summerside, with great meetings with folks who dropped in from Culture Summerside and the Harbourfront Theatre, not to mention a lunchtime visit to Eptek Art & Culture Centre to see the modern quilt guild exhibition.

Art Night in Charlottetown: The PEI Arts Guild Open House & The Artmobile Gallery is a chance for folks who have attended the CreativePEI Artmobile events to display their work to the public. We will have tables, easels, and the community gallery wall for showcasing their work, and there will be refreshments, and an Artmobile table set up for in-person creating at the event. This event is free and open to the public!

At the same time, The PEI Arts Guild will be welcoming the public back into their newly renovated space - so if you're curious to see what's new, now's your chance!

Calling at Artmobile Attendees! 👀

Sign-up for Art Night in Charlottetown: PEI Arts Guild Open House & Artmobile Gallery! This is an opportunity for folks who have attended the CreativePEI Artmobile events so far in 2026 to display their work to the public. We will have tables, easels, and the community gallery wall for showcasing your work. There will be refreshments, and an Artmobile table set up for in-person creating!

Sign-up is open to folks of all ages, we just ask that you've at least participated in one Artmobile event in 2026.

We encourage you to showcase works that you have created at our community events, but your presentation is not limited to just displaying those pieces. You may display a maximum of six!

Since this is a public, all ages event, please make sure the work you are displaying is appropriate for all audiences.

This summer, our Executive Director Jane Ledwell will occasionally be holding “open office hours” at arts and culture venues across PEI, starting in Summerside on Friday, May 22nd.

On the 22nd, feel free to drop by to chat! Find her at the Lefurgey Cultural Centre between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon or at the Harbourfront Theatre between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

CreativePEI is looking for new board members who share our vision of creating a thriving and sustainable creative sector on PEI. Our not-for-profit board seeks to empower arts, culture, and creative professionals and create meaningful connections across various artistic disciplines.

We are looking for folks who can represent the fields of Indigenous arts, video games, writing/publishing, museums/heritage, and music. Our board values individuals with diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives (though a background in finance/bookkeeping would be a lovely bonus). Regardless of your experience with non-profits or boards of this kind, we encourage you to apply!
