Everyone knows that April 1st is Fool’s Day.
But who knows that today, April 15th is WORLD ART DAY?
Art being a big part of culture and heritage, we invite you to notice the many times where art is present in your day.
It might be more times than you think…

Here’s the art I noticed in the last 3 hours:
 A painting on the bedroom wall
 A dreamcatcher in the window
 The design in my clothes
 The logo on the cereal box
 The illustration on a dollar bill
 The display on a store window
 The screensaver photos

That’s just visual art!!
If you add the other fields like film, music, literature, etc. the number at the end of the day might be pretty big. Before becoming a museum artefact, art is surrounding us.

Calling all collectors, tinkerers, and lovers of glorious noise!

The PEI Symphony Orchestra is on the hunt for authentic vintage taxi horns to bring the streets of 1920s Paris to life in an upcoming performance of ‘An American in Paris’ by George Gershwin.

If you have an old bulb horn, klaxon, or delightfully h***y relic gathering dust in your garage, they would love to borrow it (and promise to treat it like a Stradivarius… but louder).

Help them honk our way into musical history—get in touch and let your horn have its moment in the spotlight!
