To our HPEI members,

Did you know that Article 26.14 of the HPEI Collective Agreement provides members with up to 3.75 hours of paid time to attend a blood donor appointment?

With Canadian Blood Services currently facing a shortage of blood, every donation is especially important. A single blood donation can help save the lives of people undergoing surgery, cancer treatment, trauma care and other medical procedures.

If you are eligible to donate, we encourage you to consider making an appointment. Your Collective Agreement provides you with the time to do so.

Article 26.14 allows up to 3.75 hours for a blood donor appointment, so please take advantage of this benefit and help make a difference in someone's life.

Every donation matters. Give blood. Give hope. Save lives.

It's that time of year again! Mark your calendars! Our 5th Annual Summer Fun Day is coming up on Sunday August 30th, 2026 and you won't want to miss it!

We are heading back to SandsPit in Cavendish and the day is shaping up to be full of sun, smiles and serious fun! Here's what's in store:

🎡 FREE BBQ - We're firing up the grill for all current IUOE Members! Bring your appetite and enjoy a delicious lunch on us!

🎟️ Up to three (3) 50% off SandsPit passes per Member - Hit the rides, play games, and soak up the good times. It's our way of saying thank you for everything you do. More details on how to claim your passes have been emailed to the membership.

This is more than just a day at the Park. It's an opportunity to spend time with fellow members, connect with friends and meet members of your Executive Board, who will be joining us at the BBQ.
