Come by Wachiya store and check out the map for yourself! We appreciate the support 💞

We already loved the Wachiya boutique in Montréal, but we love it even more now that our map of Indigenous Quebec is on its walls. 🙌🧡

Before even discovering the beaded creations available in the boutique, the map helps visitors better understand where the artists and their communities come from, as well as the vast territory of Eeyou Istchee. It also features greetings in Indigenous languages, including Wachiya, which means “hello” in Cree.

A beautiful addition that helps connect the creations to the territories they come from. Stop by and discover it on your next visit to Montréal! ✨

🧡National Day of Truth and Reconciliation🧡

Today, we honor all the children who didn't make it home from residential schools as well as all of those still healing from the scars from it.

Through art, we carry on our culture that was once almost erased. We paint, we carve, we sing, and we remember.

Our office will be closed today September 30th, 2026 and will resume operations the 1st of October, 2026.
