The Rec House CYN strives to provide youth 12-18 with recreational and educational opportunities- with an overall goal to help them achieve their full potential in a safe, supportive, drug and alcohol free environment. The Rec House staff promotes a non-judgemental, caring, supportive environment, where confidentiality is one of our main priorities. Funded by the Office of Public Engagement, CYN's

provincially provide youth with varied engagement opportunities where youth can:
* develop leadership skills
* learn from/with others from the community
* gain work experience through volunteering
* participate in community projects and recreation activities
* develop citizenship skills
* advance entrepreneurial skills
*obtain career/work information
