Outfitters can now check if they were successful in the Non-Resident Draw.

Best of luck to everyone who applied. We hope many of our members received positive news and will be welcoming non-resident hunters to New Brunswick this season.

Les pourvoyeurs peuvent maintenant vérifier s’ils ont été retenus lors du tirage pour les permis de non-résidents.

As another ice fishing season comes to an end soon across New Brunswick, many anglers are packing up their gear after spending countless hours on frozen lakes and tidal waters throughout the province.

Ice fishing remains a cherished winter tradition, offering people the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and experience the beauty of New Brunswick during the colder months.

With spring now approaching, attention will soon turn to the upcoming open-water fishing season, bringing new opportunities to get back on the water and enjoy everything our province has to offer. New Brunswick continues to be a place where outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy fishing experiences throughout the year.

Alors qu’une autre saison de pêche sur glace tire à sa fin partout au Nouveau-Brunswick, de nombreux pêcheurs rangent leur équipement après avoir passé d’innombrables heures sur les lacs gelés et les eaux à marée de la province.

La pêche sur glace demeure une tradition hivernale bien appréciée, offrant aux gens l’occasion de profiter du plein air et d’admirer la beauté du Nouveau-Brunswick durant les mois plus froids.

Avec l’arrivée prochaine du printemps, l’attention se tournera bientôt vers la saison de pêche en eaux libres, qui apportera de nouvelles occasions de retourner sur l’eau et de profiter de tout ce que notre province a à offrir.

Several guides from our industry recently completed the Wilderness Remote First Aid course, organized by the New Brunswick Professional Outfitters & Guides Association (NBPOGA) and delivered by the Canadian Red Cross.

Thank you to instructor Blair Doyle for the excellent training and for sharing valuable knowledge relevant to the realities of the outfitting industry.

Investing in training like this helps ensure outfitters and their guides are prepared to safely welcome hunters and outdoor enthusiasts to New Brunswick.

Due to ongoing forest fires and the lack of rain in the forecast, the Government of New Brunswick has announced that Crown land will be closed starting tomorrow at midnight.

Building Bridges for the Future!

Today, the New Brunswick Professional Outfitters and Guides Association (NBPOGA) and the United Guides & Outfitters of New Brunswick (UGO) met with representatives from the Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development (DNRED) and Tourism, Heritage and Culture (THC) to establish a strategic collaboration framework for the outfitting industry.

PIVOT Consulting led this meeting, guiding discussions toward shared goals and stronger collaboration. At the end of our meeting, we took a group photo—a symbol of our collective desire to work together for the benefit of all outfitters and guides. Progress happens when we come to the table with open minds and a shared commitment to professionalism.

Aujourd’hui, l’Association des pourvoyeurs et guides professionnels du Nouveau-Brunswick (APGPNB) et l’Association des Guides et Pourvoyeurs unifiés (UGO) ont rencontré des représentants du ministère des Ressources naturelles et du Développement de l’énergie (MRNDE) ainsi que de Tourisme, Patrimoine et Culture (TPC) pour établir un cadre de collaboration stratégique pour l’industrie des guides et pourvoyeurs.

PIVOT Consulting a dirigé cette rencontre, facilitant les discussions vers des objectifs communs et une collaboration renforcée.
