Although the FCSS office will be closed next week from Wednesday to Friday. There will still be floor curling at 12:30 on Thursday, October 15 has one of the regular floor curlers will be picking up a key and opening up for the specified time

Here are some updates for the next couple of weeks!!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone caster and district FCSS will be closed Monday, October 12 for Thanksgiving
Tuesday, October 13 at 9:30 there is yoga with Brooke for the moms with tots. Everyone’s welcome and we have free yoga mats for you to keep, it is a drop in fee of three dollars.
Tuesday morning I am also in Halkirk doing a craft at 10 o’clock at the senior center. It was a pre-order workshop but I will have some extras if you wanna stop in and paint with us the cost is $10 per item.
Tuesday, October 13 1 to 2 PM there is the seniors social time and low impact exercise. This is a free activity as Heather has volunteered her time to lead it.
Tuesday, October 13 3 o’clock to 430 is our kids after school program and this is for all kids kindergarten age an older it is also a free activity. The FCSS office is closed from Wednesday to Friday as Mandy is at a rural mental health network provincial exchange. The following week on the 19th we have crib 1 to 3 PM. Five dollars.
Tuesday, October 20, 9:30 AM yoga with Brooke from moms and tots $3 drop in fee
Tuesday, October 20 1 to 2 PM come join Heather for seniors low impact exercise and social time. This is free as Heather volunteer her time
On Thursday, October 22, there is floor curling at 12:30 PM five dollars
On Thursday, October 22 at 3 PM is the death Café there dessert beverages, and conversation hope to see you there!

*** we have room for one more floor curling team for our bonspiel on Wednesday, November 4, $100/ team
*** we are also looking for teams of two to take part in our crib tournament on Monday, November 2, $40/ team

I want to thank all the people that came out today. It has been very busy but a great day with community… thank you to Mrs. weber‘s & Ms. Tamlin’s classes this morning you guys were a fantastic!! a great bunch of youth!!! thank you to the couple of adults that joined us. Thank you to Heather for running the first senior senior exercise class. Everyone that attended had a great time and everyone is invited to join next Tuesday at 1 o’clock. It’s free because Heather is donating her time and FCSS is sponsoring the space.. next there was after school in Halkirk and although the group was small, we had a lot of fun played bingo, Did some crafts, had a snack and got to know a few of the kids over there … finally for today, there will be the line dancing class at 6:30 and we’ve got seven soon to be line dancing participants. I hope your day was as great as mine.!!!😃

Senior seniors come on out at 1 o’clock on Tuesday to the FCSS building for chair exercises with Heather. This is a free event.

Don’t forget Tuesday morning, Mrs. weber‘s grade 7 and eight are joining us at the FCS building to socialize and craft together we have snacks and beverages and it’s free so please come join us starting shortly after nine until about 10:30 so come on over

Last call out to anyone wanting to do the like Zumba Exercise dance program it starts Thursday, October 8 at 9:30 in the morning in the FCSS building. The cost is $100 for seven sessions and it runs about an hour. I need to know by Tuesday morning before 11:30 AM or else the class will be cancelled as we need five to run and there are four that are registered so please share with your friends and if you’re thinking of doing it, give me a call at the office 403-882-2115. Thanks.

6, 13, 20, 27- Yoga for mums & tots, 9:30am $3, in the basement
6-Adult/seniors craft and social time with Mrs. Weber's grade 7 & 8s, 9-10:30 Come join us and the refreshments
6, 13, 20, 27, - Line dancing week 2- 6:30pm (closed)
7- Mandy bringing lunch to manor 2 & 3 & social time (closed)
8, 15, 22, 29- "like Zumba 9:30am (closed)
8, 15, 22, 29- Floor Curling 12:30pm $5
12-closed for thanks giving
13- Crafting in Halkirk 10am
14-16- Mandy Away at the Rural Mental Health Network Provincial Exchange
20 am Mandy away at a meeting
22- Death Cafe, 3pm everyone welcome
