The Cartwright Mather Health Auxiliary made excellent use of the 2026 $500 grant. They were able to purchase a knee cooler and two collapsible walkers. The mobile equipment provided by the auxiliary is frequently used by people recovering from surgeries and those requiring mobility support.

The Cartwright and Area Foundation has received a "thank you" from the Manitoba Farm, Rural and Northern Support Services, which is run through Klinic Community Health. The Foundation has granted $500 to this program which is there to help rural residents who are going through tough times. Help is available online and by phone. The Cartwright-Roblin Community Development received $4000 for their Rural Welcome project in our community. They collaborated with Cartwright School to create an outreach brochure. This brochure will then be shared with organizations that serve newcomers. They are also working on a digital ad campaign to promote our municipality.

It’s baseball season! In 2025, our Cartwright and Area Foundation granted $1000 to the Cartwright Baseball Club to renovate their batting cage. They dug it out, placed a firm fill in, and covered it with outdoor carpet.
