Just wondering how many residents of Caroline and area are aware of the fact that we are in jeopardy of losing our local ambulance service ! Our Meals on Wheels group was asked to lend our morale support to the Caroline Ambulance that is currently being dragged into a bid process that has been initiated by E.H.S.
I feel very alarmed by this situation as we as a hamlet and surrounding area need to retain this much needed service to our local area. It's critical to have a timely response that we are now privileged to have . Losing our ambulance service to a larger area could have catastrophic results for many people in this area. Please make an effort to show support by dropping into the ambulance service office and exploring the situation with the staff regarding our options to make a difference .
