I apologize for being a day late with the menu for tomorrow ...

Meal 1
Tomato macaroni soup
Quiche , egg mixture loaded with ham , cheese , green onion and sweet red bell peppers .. baked in a flaky pie crust ... served with fresh fruit
Fresh homemade banana bread for dessert

Meal 2
Garden salad
Hearty Beef Stew
Biscuits
Pineapple Delite for dessert

These meals are being delivered in a lovely homemade bag which have been stitched with love by some of our wonderful ladies of the community and were the brainchild of our president , Brenda Barker ... there are a set of two for each client , so we ask that you return your bags to the driver after each delivery other than tomorrow . The meals are cozy in their bags , ensuring that nothing will be tipped over or otherwise compromised .

We are taking steps to eliminate the soggy bun issue ... our apologies for anyone who suffered from a soggy bun bottom ... but we are aware and will try to eliminate the issue ... if anyone wishes to change or order just one meal please call 403-304-3546. Please try to send your entree containers back with your driver .

Good day everyone . I'm pleased to announce that Caroline Meals on Wheels will be back on line ... Wed. August 5 th will be our first delivery .. we will be using a different format for Aug. by way of an experiment ... we will be delivering 2 meals once a week on Wednesday . Each meal will be listed each week ... so choices can be made if you are only wanting one or the other .. this will necessitate calling and letting us know which meal you want , otherwise both will be sent ... these meals will be priced at 13.00 per meal ... same as before e.g.
meal #1 - Hearty Homemade Soup , subs, or hearty bunwiches , or a variety of nutritious sandwiches , and dessert
Meal #2 - Chicken and dumplings , dessert .... meals will be served in separate bags ... and hearty portions ... meals may vary in either soup or salads , but will be served in generous portions and those that are doing regular pickups will continue to do so unless their circumstances change ... you will be recieving a call ... but if there are any questions please call 403-304-3546. These are only examples of the menus offered ... the menu will vary from week to week .
