What an incredible evening!

Thank you to everyone who attended the Carman Area Foundation Gala last night! Your presence, generosity, and community spirit made the night truly special. From the warm conversations to the shared commitment to giving back, it was a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish together.

We are deeply grateful to our sponsors—Greenland Equipment, Aubin’s Nurseries, Sperling Industries, Carman Pharmacy, Walinga, and Blue Crescent Hotel—for helping make this event possible. Your support continues to strengthen our communities in meaningful ways.

A special congratulations to our 2026 grant recipients. Last night CAF granted out over $213,000.00 to local non-profits! It was an honour to celebrate the impactful projects you are leading across Carman, the RM of Dufferin, RM of Grey, Sperling, and RM of Roland. Your work is making a real difference.

Carman Area Foundation Gala Fundraiser.
Event: Carman Area Foundation Gala
Where: Carman Community Hall
When: Friday, April 17, 2026
Time: Doors Open 5:30p.m.
Dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Reserve Seats: Go to www.carmanareafoundation.com. Click "RESERVE SEATS HERE". You may book individual seats or a table of 8. Follow the instructions on the booking page.

Cost: Carman Area Foundation continues with our novel approach to fundraising. You will only be asked for a donation once mid evening and the amount is entirely up to you. There will be no per plate charge, no raffles, no auctions or any other fundraising activities throughout the evening. Our trust is that your donation will reflect your appreciation of the value Carman Area Foundation provides in building our communities and the support it provides to many worthwhile projects and charitable initiatives in Carman, RM of Dufferin, RM of Grey, Sperling and RM of Roland.

🌱 **Thinking of Applying for a Carman Area Foundation Grant? Here’s How It Works!** 🌱

Every year, the Carman Area Foundation (CAF) supports local charities and community groups by funding projects that strengthen our region. If your organization has a project that benefits the Town of Carman, Sperling, or the RMs of Dufferin, Roland, or Grey, you may be eligible to apply!

Here’s a quick overview of the **CAF Annual Granting Process**:

🔹 Application Window
CAF accepts grant applications annually. For 2026, the window is **January 26 to February 20**.

🔹 Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, your organization must be:
• A registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency, or
• A group operating under a municipal or town government, school division, or other charitable affiliate umbrella (a completed Affiliation Declaration Form must be submitted with application).

🔹 Before You Apply
If your organization received a CAF grant in a previous year, make sure your grant report is completed and submitted before applying again.

🔹 How to Apply
Visit the CAF Grant Portal to create or update your organization’s profile. This ensures your application is ready to go when the window opens.

🔹 What We Fund
CAF supports a wide range of community needs—arts, recreation, health care, education, wellness, youth, seniors, and more. If your project strengthens the community, we want to hear about it!
