On Tuesday May 12th from 7 to 8:30 pm, GPAC will host a free evening of cultural learning and discussion focused on the traditional Dutch art form of Staphorst stipwerk. Staphorster stipwerk (Staphorst dotwork) is a traditional Dutch craft used to decorate fabrics and objects with intricate patterns of colorful paint dots. Originally developed to embellish local folk costumes, it is recognized as part of the National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Netherlands.
