Who's ready to kick off the summer around the fire? Join us at King's Park on June 29 for marshmallows, music, cold drinks, great conversation, and all the cozy bonfire vibes! Bring a chair, a reusable cup or water bottle, and a friend...we'll handle the rest! We'll be at the fire pit near the small picnic shelter.

Beat the heat with free swimming this summer! Our first free swim of the season is Monday, June 22 at the Carman Pool, for Parents and Tots.

Don't forget...the Carman Wellness Connections Annual General Meeting and Community Supper is taking place at the King's Park Shelter TOMORROW (Wednesday, June 10)! If it rains, we will move inside at Carman United Church, 142 1st St SW.

We encourage you to join us to learn about all the great things our six Working Groups have accomplished.

Activities start at 4:30, with a free BBQ supper served at 5:30. We look forward to seeing you!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Our board member Donna is once again treating Manitoba farmers to free ice cream!

To claim your free cone, you'll simply need to show up with the Manitoba Farmer Wellness Program website open on your phone, just like in previous years. The difference this year is that Donna is letting you choose where she goes.

Comment below with your favourite Manitoba ice cream shop and encourage others to vote by liking your suggestion.

We'll count the likes on June 10 and announce the winning location shortly after.

The only locations not eligible this year are Virden Ice Cream Island and Minnedosa Dari-Isle, as Donna has visited both in the past.

Whether it's the Interlake, the Parkland, the Red River Valley, or somewhere in between, we want to hear your suggestions.

Sometimes a conversation about mental wellness starts with something as simple as sharing an ice cream cone.

For six years, Lorna George has been a steady and thoughtful leader at Carman Wellness Connections.

As she wraps up her time as Treasurer, Lorna reflects on what she has learned about poverty, community, and the importance of bringing different skills and perspectives together to create meaningful change. Her story is a reminder that lasting impact often begins with a willingness to listen, learn, and get involved.

Our clothing sorters are sorting clothes…but they can still sort some more!

If you have any kids clothes that are taking up space; we’ll gladly take them off your hand to support our Suit Up for Success event in October!

We’re set up and ready to see you at the Carman Community Hall!

We are collecting children’s clothing to give away at our Suit Up for Success event in October. Last year we collected all clothes but we were overwhelmed! This year we are receiving donations of women’s clothing from Evensong Closet and private donations of men’s clothes, so we are collecting children’s clothing only.

If you have children’s clothing to donate, come see us at the Carman Community Hall today until 3pm!
