Our fabric section is overflowing and needs a summer refresh, so that means deals for you. Starting May 25th till June 7th our larger pieces of fabric are 50% off! If you’re just looking for smaller pieces, the $1 shelf has also been restocked!

Enjoy access to our collection of overflow materials and basic crafting tools to work on your own project or check the Event Hub for themed nights.

Our sit down, self-led Maker Space is located inside A Bunch of Whimsy in Downtown Carleton Place. Come join us Thursday through Sunday and take some time for yourself to slowdown, be creative, and enjoy. We have created an accessible open art area capable of hosting crafters of all ages and skill levels. Time in the Maker Space includes access to overflow materials, basic crafting tools, and a dedicated area to create. Bring a friend, come alone, or book the entire space for a group and see what we're all about!

This vintage Singer 403 Special SLANT-O-MATIC machine was built around 1958 and is in great condition. Comes with all parts, instructions and accessories: manual, needles, bobbins, top hat cams, power cord and pedal. Will need to be cleaned and oiled. Currently it resides inside a 60s era quilting table, also in terrific condition (a few scratches and dings, as to be expected) with a knee lever to run machine.

We would love to see this machine and table find a forever home to finish out its creative life. Selling as is and purchaser would need to pick up.

As a non-profit we are hoping to sell at asking price but are definitely open to offers. Please contact us if you'd like to come in and see the machine in person. Asking $375 OBO

Introducing a new Community Space in Carleton Place!

Our Maker Space has officially become comfier with the support of the Community Enrichment Fund and Carleton Place Recreation & Culture . Since moving into the physical location in February, we have been working to establish an accessible open art area capable of hosting crafters of all ages and skill levels. Time in the Maker Space includes access to overflow materials, basic crafting tools, and a dedicated area to create.

With the support of the Community Enrichment Fund we were able to obtain more flexible and comfortable seating options to accommodate groups up to 8!
