Fourth annual Men's Shed Yard Sale will be held tomorrow, Saturday May 23rd, as part of Carleton Place's Community Wide Garage Sale, staring at 8 PM. This year's sale won't be at the shed, but rather at a member's driveway, 134 Stonewater Drive,

You can see this model of the Red Baron's plane, as well as Roy Brown's Sopwith Camel, at the Bean Chevrolet annex, where the Enterprise rental office is.

A local blogger reports on the unveiling of the half scale "dogfight" planes at Bean Chevrolet, recalling local hero Captain A Roy Brown's triumph over the infamous Red Baron. The planes were painstakingly woodworked by Hackberry Shed members led by David Whiteley, with John Ferguson putting on the finishing touches with an enormous amount of model airplane shrink plastic.

The Shed members greatly enjoyed this long term project and are grateful to Bean Chevrolet Buick GMC for sponsoring it and providing long term display space.
