Thank You Carleton Place And District Civitan Club for your support ❤️

Carleton Place Civitan was pleased to present a $7,500 cheque to the CP Christmas Basket program last night at our regular Tuesday evening bingo. This program brings some joy and assistance to those less fortunate at this time of year through the delivery of Christmas baskets.
To accept the cheque we were honoured to have Wayne Drummond, "Key Man" for this program for over 20 years. Thank you Wayne and thank you bingo players for helping us make this possible.

A big THANK YOU to our volunteers, those who donated and the businesses that hosted Angel Tree's! We could not have done it without you.
We were able to put out 282 Christmas baskets filled with food and turkeys.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, 358 children under 16 will have gifts for Christmas.
And a shout out to the kindness of Buds Taxi who delivered 23 baskets to persons unable to pick up.
What a great community we live in.
