The Trinity Conception Placentia Health Foundation was incorporated February 18, 1989. The purpose of the Foundation is to support and enhance the work and the goals of the health facilities which come under the direction of the Trinity Conception Placentia Region of Eastern Health, a catchment area of approximately 70,000 people. While the Provincial Government reimburses health care units for th
eir services to patients, and pays most of the operating cost of public health care units, costs of certain much needed equipment and special programs are not met by Government. Acquisition of new equipment, equipment replacement or upgrading, and any expansion, are expenses for which the Government pays only part of the cost. The community’s support is necessary to meet the ever growing cost of keeping its hospitals up to date. The purpose of the Trinity Conception Placentia Health Foundation is to assist Eastern Health in providing the citizens of the area with the best possible medical and hospital care. The Foundation achieves this objective by funding modern patient-care facilities and equipment.The Trinity Conception Placentia Health Foundation together with you, can provide health care services of the highest quality. Its Board of Directors include involved members, representatives of the community, working in close cooperation with medical and administrative staff.
