Today, we celebrate the moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, chosen moms, and all the women who make campfires warmer, road trips sweeter, and memories last forever.

From early morning coffees by the shore, to sandy hugs, packed coolers, bedtime stories in campers, and traditions passed down year after year — campgrounds hold some of life’s most meaningful family moments.

To every mother spending today with us, missing someone they love, or making new memories with family this season we celebrate you. ❤️

OPENING DAY IS HERE 😊

Today, the gates open for another season at Cape Tormentine Beach & Campground.

What you will find is a smiling staff, eager to welcome you back for the season.

You’ll find fresh coffee brewing, campfires waiting to be lit, a gentle breeze off of the Northumberland strait me faces and familiar faces. You will also experience a store with the beginnings of what’s needed — perfectly imperfect as we continue building for the summer ahead.

What you won’t find is perfection.

Because opening a campground isn’t about perfection.
It’s about people.
It’s about community.
It’s about laughter, sunsets, beach days, music, memories, and making this place feel like home again after a long winters sleep

We’re proud of what’s ready.
We’re excited for what’s still to come.
And most of all, we’re happy to welcome you back.

One more sleep.

Tomorrow, we open once again at Cape Tormentine Beach & Campground.

After months of planning, cleaning, repairing, stocking shelves, early mornings, late nights, and preparing every little detail… it’s finally here.

Tomorrow the campground comes back to life.

The sound of campers arriving.
Morning coffee by the water.
Campfires glowing at night.
Friends reconnecting.
New memories beginning.

This place is more than a campground to so many people — it’s tradition, peace, family, and summer all wrapped into one little corner of the coast.

Thank you to everyone who helped us get ready for opening day. We truly cannot wait to welcome you back tomorrow.

The countdown is almost over at Cape Tormentine Beach & Campground

In just 2 more sleeps, the campground comes back to life with morning coffees, beach walks, campfires, laughter, and another season of memories waiting to be made.

The shelves are filling, the team is preparing, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back on May 8.

3 DAYS TO GO

Three days until opening…
and at 5:30 this morning, it was just me, the sunrise, and the sound of the water at Cape Tormentine Beach & Campground.

Before the campground wakes up…
before the coffee starts pouring…
before the first campers arrive…
there’s a quiet kind of peace out here.

Long days.
Late nights.
Early mornings.

But moments like this remind me why it’s all worth it.

Day 4 — We’re Getting Ready

Just 4 days until we open on May 8…

New staff are joining us, familiar faces are returning, and more helping hands are still to come.

And we have an “Eager Beaver “as our first traveler to arrive at the campground !!

Orders are being placed today to stock the shelves, arriving Thursday—giving us just a few short days to bring everything together before we welcome you back.

It’s all coming to life behind the scenes… and we can’t wait to share it with you.
