🃏 Card Plays Are Back! 🃏
The Canso Lions Club is getting ready to kick off another season of Cards Plays!

Come out, enjoy an evening of cards, good company, and plenty of laughs while supporting the Canso Lions and the community projects they help make possible.

🦁 Canso Lions CPAP Program
The Canso Lions are proud to be part of the Lions CPAP program supporting residents across Nova Scotia.
Over 1,000 CPAP machines have been collected, cleaned, refurbished, and prepared for distribution through Lions Clubs in Nova Scotia.
Secretary Lion Catherine DeRabbie reported that four machines have already been distributed locally, at no cost to the residents who needed them.
The Canso Lions continue to collect used CPAP machines to help keep this valuable program going.
If you have a used CPAP machine you would like to donate, please consider giving it to the Canso Lions. 🦁

🍴 Food Handlers Course – October 31st 🍴
The Canso Lions are pleased to support the upcoming Food Handlers Course on October 31st.
There are already 15 local residents registered.

🦁 Canso Lions Support IWK & District Project 💙
During the regular meeting of the Canso Lions Club on Wednesday, September 16th, the Canso Lions proudly joined Lions Clubs across Nova Scotia in supporting the District Project for the IWK Health Centre.

The Canso Lions made a $1,000 donation toward the project, which will help provide a dedicated medicine preparation room at the IWK.
Lions Clubs across Nova Scotia have set a goal of raising $50,000, which will then be matched by the Lions Clubs International Foundation.

We are proud to support this important project and the children and families who rely on the IWK.
