Thank you, Cannington, for your incredible support of the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. We had a great turnout for our walk yesterday, and the weather was absolutely perfect.

Participants enjoyed music, prizes, and great company while supporting a wonderful cause. Congratulations to our top fundraisers, who raised $635, $295, and $200.

Combined with our May 23 BBQ, we raised over $2,000 for Dog Guides.

A special thank you to Cheryl from Wrigley’s Pet Grooming for pampering our pups with complimentary nail trims and lots of love.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this event!

🐾 Come join our Walk for Dog Guides this Sunday — with or without a dog! 🐾

The forecast is looking beautiful — sunny and 21°C! ☀️ A perfect day to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and support a great cause.

Registration begins at 1:30 PM at the TNDF Gazebo (16 York St.), and the walk starts at 2:00 PM. Choose from two different routes, making it easy for everyone to participate and enjoy the afternoon.

Register online at Walk for Dog Guides or pick up a pledge form at Foodland.

Did you know it costs more than $35,000 to raise and train a single Dog Guide? Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping provide these life-changing companions to Canadians in need. No donation is too small, and every contribution makes a difference.

A huge thank you to Wrigley’s Pet Grooming for offering FREE nail trims during the event! Even if you’re not participating in the walk, stop by, say hello, and let Cheryl pamper your pup.

Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your dog (or just yourself!), enjoy the sunshine, and support an amazing cause.

Plus, every participant will receive a prize!

We can’t wait to see you there!
