Canmore Highland Games Canmore Highland Games is a Celtic festival presented on Labour Day Weekend in Canmore, Alberta. Annual attendance averages 5,000.

Canmore Highland Games was established in 1991 by the Three Sisters Scottish Festival Society to present and celebrate Celtic culture create a destination/entertainment event. It quickly became one of the signature summer events of Canmore.

But we’re not quite ready to let it go.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be looking back at some of the moments that made this Labour Day weekend so special — the competition, the music, the traditions, the friendships and all those little moments happening across the field.

We’ll start here… with the colour, concentration and incredible talent of some of the young Highland dancers. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who competed, performed, volunteered, cheered and simply came out to be part of it. These are the moments that make the Canmore Highland Games what they are.
