Join us every Wednesday evening as we head out for a fun lap on the Upper Kananaskis! This is a fantastic, low-pressure environment to challenge your skills, practice your lines, and build consistency with the crew all season long.

We are meeting at the Widowmaker parking lot at 6:00 PM.

All river crafts are welcome! Please remember that this is a Bow Valley Kayak Club event, so active club membership is required to join the lap.

We are beyond excited to announce that Ariane has joined our leadership team as our new Operations Director and Head Instructor. 🐠🦅
Ariane is committed to the art of teaching whitewater kayaking, viewing every lesson as an opportunity to share her deep-rooted love for the water. Her approach goes beyond simple mechanics; she seeks to facilitate an intimate connection between the paddler and the river, ensuring that everyone she instructs feels a genuine sense of comfort and belonging in the current.
Creating a space that is both safe and fun is at the heart of Ariane's mission. She is passionate about passing on her knowledge to help our members discover the powerful bond shared between our bodies, our community, and the rivers that sustain us.
Looking ahead, Ariane is eager to engage with our paddling family to foster a more diverse and inclusive community. She believes the magic of the river should be accessible to all, and she is committed to making our club a welcoming home for everyone.
Ariane is here to support you and keep our club moving forward, so please don't hesitate to reach out to her with any questions, feedback, or comments you might have. Whether you want to talk technique or share ideas for the club's future, she is all ears!
