Friends & Family Camp 2026 was one for the books! ☀️

We spent a full week unplugged at William Watson Lodge, exploring Peter Lougheed Provincial Park and making the most of every adventure. From paddling, hiking and biking to whitewater rafting with Chinook Rafting, there were so many ways to get outside and have fun together.

There was also plenty of time to slow down and enjoy camp life, with campfires, s'mores, Fairy Club, and a delicious wrap-up dinner with an impromptu talent show to finish the week.

Our hearts (and stomachs) are full! 🥰

A huge thank you to CIBC for supporting camp, CP Kids & Families for providing extra bikes, Nanotess and Alberta Parks for sharing their knowledge, and our incredible staff and volunteers who made the week so special.

Submit an original design for a chance to be featured on RMA’s 2027 T-Shirt 👕👩🏻‍🎨

We welcome entries from members of the RMA community. This includes: participants, participant support people/caregivers, volunteers, staff, and others who are directly connected to RMA.

Submission Deadline: September 10th, 2026

Quick Notes:

➡️ Designs created with physical media (eg. paint or drawings using pen or pencil) must be mailed or hand delivered the the RMA Office in Canmore. This is in effort to preserve the original quality of each design.

➡️ Designs created using digital media may be submitted electronically.

➡️This contest is not open to the general public.

This summer has been a little unpredictable 🌊🔥🥵

With so many unexpected weather changes, our team has stayed flexible and found ways to keep programs running while prioritizing the safety of our participants, staff and volunteers.

Sometimes that means changing locations, rescheduling, modifying activities or coming up with a completely different plan. Whatever the day brings, our team is ready to roll with it.

And through all the changes, we’ve been having a whole lot of fun this summer. 💙

Good company makes every adventure even better. 🚵⛰️

Over the past two years, Mac has joined us for all kinds of experiences, from sit skiing in the winter to kayaking, Bowhead rides, and our No Limits Camp this summer.

Mac is an emerging speaker, musician, and adaptive athlete, and we were thrilled to spend the day riding the trails together at Sleeping Buffalo Mountain (Tunnel Mountain) in Banff. They’re always up for trying something new, and it’s been incredible to see him take on each new challenge.

A huge shoutout to Maren, our Adaptive Bike Lead, and Jessie, our Recreation Programmer. Your planning, knowledge, and encouragement made this ride an amazing learning experience.

Thanks for another great day on the trails, Mac. We can’t wait for the next one! 💙
