Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandpas, uncles, mentors, and father figures.

Today we celebrate the men who reflect, in their own imperfect but powerful way, the heart of our Heavenly Father—steadfast, patient, loving, and faithful.

Thank you for the thousand little things that often go unnoticed: taking out the garbage, filling the gas tank, changing the light bulbs, carrying the heavy stuff, and yes, squashing bugs.

And thank you for the bigger things too—the encouragement, the life lessons, the prayers, the laughter, the bear hugs, and the steady presence that helps us feel safe and loved.

To our Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us perfectly, guiding us faithfully, and giving us Your Holy Spirit to comfort, strengthen, and lead us each day.

✨ Pursuing the “I” in SPIRE: Intellectual Wholeness.

Mountain climbers don't prepare halfway up the mountain.
Soldiers don't learn their equipment in the middle of the battle.
And we don't build wisdom in the middle of a crisis.

Preparation happens beforehand.

One of the great invitations of faith is to learn God's ways before we're forced to learn life's lessons the hard way. God is always ready to meet us in our pain, but He also desires to guide us away from some of the predictable struggles that come from ignorance, forgetfulness, or poor choices.

"The Lord is close to all whose hearts are crushed by pain, and he is always ready to restore the repentant one." -Psalm 34:18
