Nearly 50 Albertans experience police-reported family violence every single day. And many more go unreported.

This November help us shed a light on family violence. Display a purple light in your window, on your porch, or anywhere it can be seen to show your support for those affected by family violence and remind others they are not alone.

Sit on a board or help run a community group? Join us this November for free, in-person governance training at CRE. (Free, thanks to grant funding from the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation)

Six practical sessions with governance advisor Maureen Moneta (CPA, CA, ICD.D), from understanding your role to running better meetings and building a board people want to join.

Open to board members, staff, and volunteers from not-for-profit, municipal, and community-serving organizations, plus young leaders, students, and 4-H members. Attend all six or just the sessions you need.

Starting today until October 27 volunteers in Camrose will be participating in the nation-wide Point-in-Time (PiT) count.

Over the next week, volunteer teams will attend events, connect with people, and conduct a brief survey about their housing experience.

This Count provides an estimate of the minimum number of people experiencing homelessness or housing precarity on a single night.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered their time and to everyone who takes the time to participate.
