This Friday, June 19th, the Seniors’ Centre's lunch features a mouth-watering seafood lasagna, paired with a fresh green salad and a slice of garlic bread. The volunteers have crafted cookies in the shape of beer bottles to commemorate Father's Day on Sunday. The cookie bears a striking resemblance to Irish Dry Stout, boasting a rich, dark brown color and a delicious cookie taste. šŸ˜…

Arranged by our Special Events Director, Dot Muir

Something fun and free is coming to the Campbell River Seniors' Centre in September.

ā€œDance the Worldā€

These classes are for women who want to learn some easy dances from around the world.
Rebecca Campbell and Merja Tammi will lead you through dances from the Celts, Asia, Spain, Prussia, Greece, Finland, Siberia, the Caribbean, and more! We will dance with props like skirts, fans, lights, veils, bangles, etc.

Question- Do I need to wear any special clothing?
Answer - No, but do wear clothes that let you move and shoes that let you dance (anything from ballet flats to orthopaedic shoes are acceptable). If you happen to have a skirt like the ladies in the picture, bring it, but we will also have skirts available.

The emphasis is on having fun while, making friends, and getting exercise at a moderate pace.
Absolutely no previous experience needed.
Dates and times to be arranged.
Watch this page for updates.

The CRSC members who registered for the casino bus excursion to Nanaimo on Saturday traveled in luxurious comfort, courtesy of Lorrie Herman owner of Kidz Connection Child Care, thanks to the organization's air-conditioned beautiful Van. Upon receiving payment from Connie, the trip organizer, Lorrie generously refunded the amount and requested that it be donated to the Seniors' Centre. We extend our gratitude to Lorrie for her generosity. Thank you Lorrie!
Additionally, we appreciate the services of our driver, Shauna, who ensured a seamless and enjoyable journey, highlighted by a delightful ice cream stop on the return trip.
