Logged some good rebreather time this weekend with Trisha Stovel, Manfred Lippe, Les Newman and Monique Score aboard the Ocean Guardian.

First couple dives felt more like working dives as I was refining my equipment, weighting and trim. Last two dives were amazing when it all came together.

Did a number of great sites just minutes from Campbell River including a current dive at ‘Row and be Damned’ with Trisha where we were ripping along at fast jogging speed. Last dive on the HMCS Columbia, a 112m Frigate of the Royal Canadian Navy sunk in 1996 as an artifical reef.

This coming weekend I’m training a number of US based PFI Instructors through Technical Freediving and Scooter/DPV Freediving. They’re coming to Campbell River and we’ll be diving Sat learning Techical Freediving using McIvor Lake in the afternoon. Sunday we’ll be doing Scooter/DPV while also using technical with the afternoon off the Ocean Guardian and the HMCS Columbia.

Following weekend I head out to New Zealand for 3+ weeks to help finish some work on Avatar 3.
