Even more exciting? Synchronized skating is making history—the new Synchro9 format has been officially added to the 2030 Winter Olympic Games, making now the perfect time to get involved in this incredible sport.

We had a whole lot of fun participating in the intermission at the good ol’ hockey game on Friday night at the Hespeler Reunion! You could feel the excitement on the ice and how strong the community is in Hespeler!

Thank you to all the organizers of The Hespeler Reunion and giving us a spot light on the ice and in the sky (see photo)! Until next time, keep those skates sharp Hespeler! ☘️🐝

We wouldn’t miss being apart of the Hespeler Reunion THIS weekend! Some of our Starskaters will be preforming at the hockey game on Friday July 10th at intermission! If you secured a ticket for the game, we can’t wait to perform for you! See you at the rink! ☘️

🚨New for 2025/26 season🚨

We have a few positions on the board currently vacant for the 2026/27 skating season.

New this year, we have initiated a 10% off discount on one registration per year for all active board members. It is the clubs way of saying ‘Thank You’ to all the board members for helping to support and continue to grow the Hespeler Skating Club.

🚨Double Celebration Alert!🚨

Last Tuesday, our Starskaters, Quinn (left) and Kate (right) took to the ice at Paris Skating Club to test their Ten Fox Dance (Star 6). This was the first time for both skaters to take part in a test day and to be evaluated in front of a judge for a dance pattern.

They are excited to share they both passed! 💃💃

Thank you to the for having Quinn and Kate join in your test day!. A big congratulations goes out to both Quinn and Kate on this big milestone. What a wonderful way to wrap up the end of spring skate!

We are less than a month away from our Annual General Meeting. All are welcome to attend on Wednesday June 3rd at the arena (room TBD) at 7pm. We are currently looking to fulfill some roles this season. If you or anyone you know might be interested in helping out with one of these roles listed, or would like to know more about a particular role please reach out to [email protected] or reach out on any social media to inquire.

We ask that all interested have their intentions emailed to the club no later than June 2nd.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the AGM to wrap up the 2025/26 skating season! ⛸️

🎉We are kicking this long weekend off by celebrating Hannah!

Hannah has lots to celebrate as she recently tested her Ten Fox dance and passed! She skated a beautiful dance which had the judge commenting on her neat feet throughout the pattern. 💃

The Ten Fox is within the Star 6 level and is one of the first sequences of dances that have to be assessed by a Skate Canada judge. It takes a lot of hard work to accomplish this!

Hannah, you have inspired many and we can’t wait to watch you conquer all the many dances to come. You definitely started your Star 6 dances on the right foot! 😉Congratulations Hannah! We are so proud of you!

Oh what fun! The Hespeler Skating Club took part in ‘Bring on the Fun’ competition in Port Colborne on April 25th. It was a competition all based on having fun on the ice!

Noel (pictured to the left) competed for the very first time! She performed a beautiful strong solo and had a perfect skate! Congratulations on your first competition!

For the first time ever, we had a group of our Star skaters come together to compete in the team event. ‘Hespeler Hard Knocks’ obtained an impressive ‘Excellent’ ranking! Great job girls- you had the whole audience singing along!

Congratulations also goes out to Payton, Kate, Hannah and Harper for also competing individually. All skaters represented the HSC with lots of heart! We are so proud of everyone. ♥️
