Throughout the season, there are a variety of fun events planned for skaters and their families, ending off with our impressive Ice Show.

We are less than a month away from our Annual General Meeting. All are welcome to attend on Wednesday June 3rd at the arena (room TBD) at 7pm. We are currently looking to fulfill some roles this season. If you or anyone you know might be interested in helping out with one of these roles listed, or would like to know more about a particular role please reach out to [email protected] or reach out on any social media to inquire.

We ask that all interested have their intentions emailed to the club no later than June 2nd.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the AGM to wrap up the 2025/26 skating season! ⛸️

🎉We are kicking this long weekend off by celebrating Hannah!

Hannah has lots to celebrate as she recently tested her Ten Fox dance and passed! She skated a beautiful dance which had the judge commenting on her neat feet throughout the pattern. 💃

The Ten Fox is within the Star 6 level and is one of the first sequences of dances that have to be assessed by a Skate Canada judge. It takes a lot of hard work to accomplish this!

Hannah, you have inspired many and we can’t wait to watch you conquer all the many dances to come. You definitely started your Star 6 dances on the right foot! 😉Congratulations Hannah! We are so proud of you!

Oh what fun! The Hespeler Skating Club took part in ‘Bring on the Fun’ competition in Port Colborne on April 25th. It was a competition all based on having fun on the ice!

Noel (pictured to the left) competed for the very first time! She performed a beautiful strong solo and had a perfect skate! Congratulations on your first competition!

For the first time ever, we had a group of our Star skaters come together to compete in the team event. ‘Hespeler Hard Knocks’ obtained an impressive ‘Excellent’ ranking! Great job girls- you had the whole audience singing along!

Congratulations also goes out to Payton, Kate, Hannah and Harper for also competing individually. All skaters represented the HSC with lots of heart! We are so proud of everyone. ♥️

We’re excited to now offer **yoga sessions after our Starskate sessions during spring! ** 🧘‍♀️⛸️

This is a great way for our skaters to improve flexibility, build strength, and wind down after being on the ice. Perfect for enhancing performance and helping prevent injuries!

Our Ice Show themed Skaters in Toyland was a huge success yesterday! ✨⛸️🧸

A huge THANK YOU goes out to our amazing coaches, dedicated board members and the many volunteers who worked behind the scenes to make this event possible. Your time, passion, and commitment do not go unnoticed!

And of course, to our talented skaters — you are the heart of it all. Your hard work and enthusiasm shone brightly on the ice, and we couldn’t be prouder! ⛸️

Lastly but most importantly, a big thank you to everyone who came out to support the Hespeler Skating Club! We’re all still smiling from such an unforgettable day yesterday and SO very grateful to be part of such a wonderful community. Enjoy this little recap of HSC very special day ♥️

Reminder! This Friday (March 27th) is ice show rehearsal! Please refer to the handout for your child’s group designated time. Have child come dress in their costume. Rehearsal starts at 5pm and runs until 7pm. 🎟️ Advance tickets for Sunday show(s) will ONLY be sold Friday March 27th between 5-7pm. Cash only.
