Riverside Park was filled with sunshine, community spirit, and the most beautiful souls showing up for cancer research.

Today, people around the world will come together for the 46th annual Terry Fox Run.

Join us for a walk or run in the park today and make a difference by raising money for cancer research! See you soon at Riverside Park!

Terry started a marathon against cancer. Together with the incredible support of our participants, volunteers, and donors, we can finish it!

On this day in 1980, Terry Fox was the youngest recipient of the Companion of the Order of Canada—the country’s highest civilian honour. He was 21.

He received the honour just 19 days after being forced to stop his historic Marathon of Hope outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario, because his cancer had returned.

Terry died on June 28th, 1981. Just 282 days later.

Are you ready, Cambridge?! 🌟

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow at Riverside Park as we celebrate our community and your incredible fundraising efforts!

RUN DAY DETAILS:
• Everyone’s welcome to run, walk, wheel, or cheer on (Rain or Shine)
• Registration starts 11:00 a.m. (or register online — everyone must register).
• No registration fee — but every participant is asked to fundraise or make a personal donation to support life‑saving cancer research.
• Bring your reusable water bottle for our refill station.
• Bring a photo of a loved one for our memorial table.
• Snap a pic at the Team Up For Terry selfie station and tag us:
• Grab your 2026 t‑shirt (youth M–2XL). Cash or credit (phone needed).
• Furry friends welcome — on leash.
• Live music from Nathan Bonassin.
• Opening ceremony 11:45 a.m.
• Group start at 12 noon.
• Complimentary refreshments available — or bring a picnic and enjoy the park.
