21 Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada Army Cadet Corps Cambridge Army Cadets are the third oldest cadet corps in Canada. 21 RHFC ACC is a free organization open to youth ages 12-18. www.21armycadets.ca

The Cadet Program is the largest federally-sponsored youth program in Canada that includes the Royal Canadian Sea, Army and Air Cadets. It is a national program for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities while learning about the sea, army and air activities of the Canadian Forces. Cadets are encouraged to become a

ctive, responsible members of their communities. They make valuable contributions to Canadian society on a daily basis in terms of environmental, citizenship and community activities. Cadets also learn valuable life and work skills such as teamwork, leadership and citizenship. Cadets are not members of the Canadian Forces, nor are they expected to join the military. Cadets is a great way for youth to learn more about Canada, make new friends and develop life skills that will enable them to succeed no matter what career they choose.

It's with an abundance of caution that I've decided to cancel our regular training this Monday, the 26th of January. The bad weather should have passed by Cadet time, but that doesn't mean the roads will be cleared and I don't want to put anyone on the roads if we don't have to!

Please remember to sign up for the FTX and check on teams for any further updates and we'll see you all next week, February 2nd for our CO's parade.

Due to the especially wintry forecast for tomorrow, Sunday, January 25th, I'm going to cancel the marksmanship training. We'll keep an eye on the weather and see how it turns out for Monday, but at this point it looks like we should be in the clear for our regular scheduled training. Stay warm and stay safe!
