🐲As we head into our last week of summer here in before joining our international sisters at the 2026 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival, France 🇫🇷

This festival will welcome 4500 🎗️participants paddling 🚣 together in unison, strength and commaraderie. 14 of our Breaststrokes team members are teaming up with Dragons Abreast Australia 🇦🇺 welcoming us as their own paddle sisters.

All the practicing, fundraising& emotions will come to fruition as we set our paddles in Aix-les-Bains Lac du Bourget

It all began in 2011 with one woman, Geneviève Garreau, and a bold ambition: to create France's 2nd BCS team in Annecy (Les Drôles de Rames)

15 years later, her dream welcomes 4,500 paddlers from around the world. 🌸 🐉

In 10 days, the IBCPC France 2026 Festival opens its doors in Aix-les-Bains!
